Terms of use

These terms apply to the Tessolari marketplace at www.tessolari.com. Tessolari is a trading name of Be Braver Ltd (company number 06612298), registered in England and Wales. The terms cover signing up, posting listings, contacting other members, leaving reviews, and money flow through the platform.

We aim to keep these terms clear and short. Anything unclear, email us at hello@tessolari.com.

When using Tessolari you agree to:

• Be truthful in your profile, listings, and reviews. Don't impersonate someone else, fabricate qualifications, or post listings you can't deliver.
• Be respectful. No harassment, abuse, hate speech, or discriminatory content directed at other members or any group.
• Use the platform lawfully. Don't use it to facilitate anything illegal.
• Not misuse the system. No scraping, automated activity, attempts to bypass authentication, or interference with the site's operation.
• Honour your DBS submission. If you submit a DBS check, the certificate must be your own and currently valid.

We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

When you book a service through Tessolari, you contract with Be Braver Ltd, trading as Tessolari, not directly with the individual provider. We engage providers as sub-contractors to deliver the service you booked. This means:

• You pay Tessolari for the service via card or Revolut Pay at checkout.
• The provider delivers the service.
• You confirm the work was done. If you don’t respond, we treat it as confirmed after 24 hours.
• We pay the provider via Faster Payments after the confirmation window closes.
• If something goes wrong, your contract is with Tessolari — you ask us for a refund or escalation, and we deal with the provider.

Pricing tiers (membership tiers go live after launch; until then all members are on the free tier):

• Free — £0/month, 20% platform fee per completed booking.
• Paid — £12/month or £120/year, 10% platform fee per completed booking.
• Power — £30/month or £300/year, 5% platform fee per completed booking.

Membership fees are billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled at any time. The lower platform fee applies for the period you have paid for. Browsing, listing, profile editing, reviews, and forum participation are always free.

VAT. Once Tessolari’s turnover crosses the UK VAT registration threshold (£90,000 in any rolling 12 months), prices on the platform will include UK VAT at the prevailing rate. We will give clear notice before this change.

Dispute resolution. If a service was not delivered, was materially different from what was offered, or caused harm, raise it via your booking page or email hello@tessolari.com within 7 days of the agreed delivery date. We will hold the payment to the provider while we investigate.

You can leave one review per listing per reviewer. Reviews must be honest and based on direct experience. Reviews used to harass, defame, or coerce a member are removed and may result in account suspension.

We don't edit reviews. We do remove ones that violate these terms.

• We try to keep things working — but we make no guarantee of availability or accuracy at any given moment.
• External links — where members link to outside resources, this isn't an endorsement.

• Your content stays yours. By posting on Tessolari you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
• Platform code and design are the property of Autism Help (a project by Axel Segebrecht).
• Third-party fonts and icons are credited where applicable. Atkinson Hyperlegible and OpenDyslexic are licensed under SIL OFL 1.1.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Tessolari is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the platform — including from agreements you reach with other members.
• We are not liable for any third-party site or service we link to.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. On closure, your listings, DBS metadata, and reviews you received are removed. Reviews you wrote of others are retained but anonymised. Audit-log references to you are nulled but events remain (so prior moderator activity stays accountable).

We may update these terms. Substantive changes will be flagged on sign-in. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
